Prezentare InstallAnywhere Collaboration
InstallAnywhere Collaboration-an Eclipse plug-in for application developers-is designed to meet this challenge. Used to capture installation requirements and dependencies in an installer-engine-independent XML format (Developer Installation Manifest), InstallAnywhere Collaboration allows installation developers and release engineers, who know the requirements for the overall installation architecture and end-user experience, to automatically “consume” these DIMs in their InstallShield- or InstallAnywhere-based installers without the risks that come from ad hoc, last minute changes and inconsistent communication.
